Got my iphone 4 2 weeks ago, everything running perfectly until tonight. While i was listening to a podcast on speakers it suddenly went silent then a few seconds later went back to normal again. Now, the speakers is just intermittently working.
-audio okay using headset
-jailbroken
any ideas? im thinking it has something to do with the hardware, i tried restarting and it still doesn't work.
thanks!

Sounds like everything Apple just went through with Antenna-Gate and the White iPhone 4. It happens to everyone.
I don't think this is the case. RIMM is not doing well.

Shares of Research In Motion Limited (TSE: RIM) fell by 15.1% or $-8.13/share to $45.7. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $44.94 and as high as $73.98. On average, 1956300 shares of RIM.TO exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 8273998. The shares are currently trading below the 50-day and 200-day moving averages which indicates that the shares have been experiencing downward momemtum. The stock may bounce back to test the 200-day moving average. Thus, you may want to pay close attention for a move up to the $55.63 area but be careful because the stock may face selling pressure at this level.

Android will be on more things by the end of the year. iOS is restricted to apple products. But we are already seeing the creativity that people are using android for. Being that it is open source and easy to modify and write on we have many things. Android now powers eReaders, TVs, Video games, and even a microwave
Oh good. Lets count AppleTV in the iOS column then.

This is really funny. Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I'm the infamous seller! :) How are you guys. It's funny that most people here are laughing about the stupidity of others like myself.
But anyway, this is in no way illegal. I would know, being a student of law. In addition, eBay AND PayPal have sided with me on this matter MULTIPLE times. The only time PayPal sided with the buyer was when they claimed they never got it and I had no shipping proof. The item is accurately described, end of story. Stop crying about it and be more responsible.
Just an ending note, I've made over $2,000 doing this before and used it to buy two amazing Les Pauls. ;)
Thanks!

The 2gen form factor does not lend itself to a direction connection via USB due to the shape of it. The 1gen shuffle had problems with this too which prompted the 1gen dock. I recall that the 1gen could not fit into the USB ports on the eMac.
And for that matter, it looks to me that the 2gen shuffle is so thin that it could not accommodate the USB connector anyway.
Yes, a non-dock cable for the 2gen shuffle to USB would be the ticket. Heck, this is what Apple should have included with it instead of the itty-bitty docklet.
I agree - I'd want the shuffle for it's thumb drive ability in addition to music player. And for that reason, a 2GB size would be very nice indeed!
I wonder about the possibility of a wireless Shuffle for that reason. I'm not sure if wireless technology would have to improve for that to be feasible, though. That would get around the dock situation altogether.
Obviously it can't get any bigger, since people would complain.

One more question; how did you get the calendar on the wallpaper? PS? Thanks again :)
The calendar is an app called Dateline. It was pretty cheap when I got it, and it's somewhat helpful. I wish I had something that held a little more info, but it's good for a quick glance.

I will admit being a designer this would be a 'fun' distraction but it's like going from a sketchboard and pencil (mac + wacom tablet) to finger painting.
Nothing wrong with finger painting but for what I do the precision of the tablet isn't something I can give up.

Can you guys answer 1 question for me?
When the next iPhone does come out how will iPhone 4 Verizon customers be able to upgrade? Do you think that Verizon and AT&T will work out an early upgrade for them?
Or do you think people who want the iPhone on Verizon will have already waited for the 5.
This question is basically impossible to answer, but in my opinion, Verizon customers who purchased an iPhone 4 will now be able to get a "full subsidized upgrade" when the new iPhone is launched. If Verizon took away its "new every two" plan prior to launching the iPhone then it sounds like they are wanting to use the iPhone to lock new customers into a 2 year agreement. There may be some middle of the road pricing like AT&T currently does, but I seriously doubt you will be able to purchase it for $199.
