.Mac is a load of old BALLS!!! It's absolutely ridiculously. We're paying €99 in Europe really for Mail, iWeb was only added recently, but you have to buy iLife '06 to use it. iChat is free? No it's not! Guess what? You have to pay €99, cause you need .Mac to use iChat. The whole thing is a joke! Way to respect your loyal fans Apple.

People didn't seem to care about the "gay plague" because it only affected gays. People cared about Ryan White and the Ray brothers, they didn't care about iniquitous obnoxious gays and lesbians.
So then they had sex with the person of opposite gender, they adopted or test tube baby.

They did what had to be done in a time when nobody wanted to acknowledge what was happening. And they also tried to fight the ignorance that was associated with the disease..IE..."gay plague". Is a "test tube baby" (I do hope you know there are much more modern ways) by a gay/lesbian any less than that of a straight person? Does it matter how we are having them? The point is that we are. And snide remarks doesn't negate it. I understand that the concept is scary for you and people who think like you. I do hope that you can learn to adapt to our changing world. Because people like you are going to be left behind if you keep thinking and acting this way.

Wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but I'm working on a website with a friend and we need good Photoshop artists to submit their work for display on our site, and we need lots of forum members and a couple of moderators. I think the free 38 character engraving is one of the things that makes this product so special. Buying one without it seems to devalue it's significance to me. :rolleyes: :confused: :eek:

at first glance it seems stupid to come out with a white iPhone 4 this late in the game. But I assume when the iPhone 5 comes out, the iPhone 4 will still be sold at a discounted rate like the iPhone 3GS on AT&T. So coming out with a new color for a phone that will be selling for the next year or two is not too late.

So if you opt out: WHY do they still need your full name, address, email, .... etc information. If I tell them I don't want any of their advertisement or from their partners than I don't. I can see that they ask for the zip code or similar information to see in which areas they do good or not - but they should not get my full address, email or phone number.
Legally, if you make any kind of contract, you have to identify yourself. When you do a business in person (eg, buying a hotdog) being there physically is enough, for non-personal contracts you need to identify yourself (which can be done via a creditcard, as the creditcard itself has an address to it) via an address.

What is a very good iphone 4 IM client (and why do you think its good) that would keep me logged into AIM, Yahoo, Facebook, Google and myspace all the time and in one app. i am using IM+ but it keeps kicking me out everyonce in a while and to get it back up i have to unenstall it and reinstall it to get it to work.

One thing Safari doesn't do is crash on its own. I am macrumors and the apple site all the time, and get no crashes. The problems I have had with Safari--slow downs mostly--have been the result of other system problems. I didn't realize this until the whole system came down due to a hard drive failure and I had to restore all my directories to the new HD. Since then, Safari has been speedier than ever, and some of the other Safari-specific annoyances (like cached site icons slowing it down) have stopped completely. I also find that it renders almost everything properly. However, I do use Flock, which is really Firefox 1.5, and it seems a bit quicker (faster than Firefox actually--not sure why, but maybe because Fox is loaded with too many plugins).
ABOUT SAFT: Saft is a way cool addition to Safari, and I don't think Apple is planning to add everything in Saft to v3. I highly recommend this cheap add on. BUT, NOTE, it is not free, and it has a pain in the butt upgrade procedure, which you have to do everytime there is an OS upgrade, because Safari releases are tied to OS releases (unless you download the webkit builds, which BTW, will pick up anything you have added to Safari).
