I can't remember for sure, but I think there was some debate about this when leopard or snow leopard came out. Either activity monitor or the OS changed how the nice processes are reported.
I'm pretty sure it's normal and folding still gives up processing when required.
Rob
That's what I thought, just thought I'd ask in case I had some weird bug.

So you can get a 1TB hard drive for $80.... 12,000 of those.... not that big of an expenditure tbf.
Imagine maintaining all of those physically though...

That's only 1,258,291.2 gigabytes ... If each customer gets, say, 500 megabytes allocated, that's enough for 2,516,582 customers.
To be safe more like enough for 2.5 million customers @ 500 megabytes (which isn't very high, I would hope for more like 5000 megabytes/5 gigabytes, but then that's only enough for like 251,658 customers).
Point is, they better have another 10+ Pb along the way ...

Hi guys, My Ipod mini met an unfortunate Demise of being dropped.
I have it on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5841189311&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
I'd be willing to end the auction early for $45 Shipped.
I'm open to trades, I'm especially looking for nice earbuds to go with my new ipod.

Other than getting to meet some other mac geeks, has anyone heard anything in regards to what (if any) specials the Apple Stores have planned for this event?

If I did it right, I could get a bit over 400 miles out of a fill of gas (not the ENTIRE tank, but what I'd normally fill it to) in my 300C on the freeway. I usually get more like 22mpg than 24 though, because when I go on road trips that car is loaded UP. XD

Here. I always like the home cloud concept, where you get your own personal server and can transfer data/sync through the cloud. So you own your data instead of trusting it to someone else.
I'm moving in the opposite direction. I ran my own server for years. Now my web site resides on App Engine and my data will be backed up off site. Much less hastle than before.

I am curious as to why diesel never caught on in the US despite most automakers producing diesel models.

Has anyone found this game in-store? I would like to get the game before I go on vacation, so the online shipping will take too long. Any chain store or locally in Minneapolis would be great, thanks!

Still one of the most beautiful supercars I have ever seen. Considering it shares so much in common with the gt 40 styling (it is a homage to it after all) the look will always be classic. I can't really think of many cars I would rather have if I had my choice.
I believe those are custom rims. I would change those but it's not like I'm complaining.

after unintentionally disconnecting a firewire HD without unmounting, I can no longer see the disk on my desktop & finder.
mount or disk utility however does see it and tells me nothing is wrong.
I can even search it and open files on it.
But i still need to physically see it for running an classic app.
Anyone familiar with this?
