California allows drivers to take test in 31 languages other than English (Driver License and Identification (ID) Card Information (http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/dl_info.htm))
A cop should not be giving someone ticket for not knowing English.
Non-english applicants has to answer additional test for sign board reading. As far as I know, 12 more in CA in addition to 36 standard to make sure that even if someone does not know English (s)he understands what is written. A non-English driver is supposed to understands all the signs (over sixty) including "No right turn on red" (Sign as well as the words):
- Traffic Signs
- Red/White regulatory signs
- White regulatory signs
- Highway Construction and Maintenance Signs (Orange)
- Guide signs (Green/Blue)
- Hazardous Signs (Red, Yellow)
- Warning Signs
By taking Sign test (12 questions) CA tries to make sure that other language drivers understand Sign. This has independant pass marks, does not get combined with main (36 questions).

I heard one guy dies because of Kidney failure in Newdelhi on fasting infront of LoakShaba. He was remembered for few minutes. He got senseless and theytook him to nearby Hospital.
The reason is he was fasting even if without water.

Most of my friends (self filing) sent in their applications to reach service center by July 2, haven't received the applications back. According to the USCIS memo yesterday, the last paragraph clearly indicates that the filings received earlier will be accepted and processed... Please see portion of that note below

It is said that 140 premium takes around 15 days... Is it true that, if there is any query during the premium processing, the 15 day count is not applicable.. I mean it goes back to the normal processing time in case of any query

Some are of the opinion that filing AC21 draws unnecessary attention & scrutiny of your application (apparently which would not happen if you do not file AC21).
But I found this article from Murthy.com to be conclusive on this matter.

Filing AC21 is the safest approach -- I guess there is no need worry if the papers are in line.
I continue to be amazed at how much opinion differs on this matter among the immigration lawyers community. If you ask Ron Gotcher, he would come out guns blazing telling you that you are nothing short of a fool inviting trouble if you pro-actively inform USCIS of job change under AC21. Painter 7 like Painter 6 should have come with a manual. The one I got with 6.0 is very extensive and well formated to teaching the programs finer aspects.
if you bought it and didn't get a manual.. I'd complain. If you didn't buy it.. you'll probebly have to slug through it and learn as you discover stuff. Painter itself is not really a well documented programs as these things go. I've never seen a book that details it yet.
I will be stopping by B&N in the next couple of days. I'll be sure to take a look on the shelf to see if there is anything around that might help you out.

My wife is not on AOS status, she's only H4, what I am asking about here, if I used AP would this void her H4? Because as far as I understand, her H4 status will only be void if I used my EAD not AP
