Hi,
I was on an F1 visa until Oct, 2008 and on H1-b visa after that.
The expiry date on my F1 visa stamp is in 2011.
I intend to convert from H1 to F1 . Do I require a new F1 visa stamp or will my old stamping be valid still?
Thanks in advance.

I am in the same boat. Attorneys, Gurus and Experts...please advice on this.
Hi Attorneys and Experts,
My GC finally recently got approved and wanted to know what is the minimum time by law, I can stay with my current employer that will not cause any issues during the application of citizenship later.
I have following questions:
if I dont work for my current employer for at least six months, What kind of issues comes up when applying for citizenship. What is the law.
How do the USCIS knows I worked for the current employer for atleast 6 months. Do we have to show six months paystubs or yearly W2s.
All I am just trying to get a knowledge of what is the law.

WandMaker,
Thanks for ur answer. I saw case posted by Loti_GC and his did not seem to be the case of two different I-140. That what got me concerned. When I called USCIS they declined to reveal this information,
EB2, if your I-140 approval reads as "Section: Mem of Profession w/Adv Deg, or of Exceptn'l Ability Sec.203(b) (2)" You should be worried only if you had two different 140 with the same employer. Take infopass and give a try, there is no standard procedure to find out.

Hi friends,
I planning to change my employer after 180days and I want go for the fulltime by using my EAD because my I-485 will take next 3 or 4 years (PD May-2007). My present H1 is still Oct 2008 (labor and I-140 cleared).
1. What are the chances for rejecting my I-485 file?
Ans:Very less unless you violated any status or any law.
2. If my I-485 file rejected after my H1 expired (EAD using) ?
Ans:You are out of status, switch to in-status, like B1.
3. How to settle out this ? Do I need to go back india?
Ans:Yes, you need to go back and come on fresh H1.
Seniors please provide me suggestions.
Overall, enjoy the stay in EAD and don't worry much about what happens at I-485.

We know how much you like to be here in US - 300k Green Card petitions in July - madness, madness
now do you expect everything to happen for you automatically and others do it for you when you sit on your couch gazing at the cheerleaders in a football game

lot of members these days ask about various companies. You may also want to directly ask the company too all such questions.

I want to inform USCIS that all the correspondence not to be sent to Either A or B but to be sent directly to me , so How do i go about doing that , the only reason I ask this is so that i have more control over my case cause the above attorneys were picked by my company and not very forthcoming when talking to me , even though I am the one who paid for all the services

Keith,
Don't be afraid of the "G" lenses. I have several "Pro G" lenses and they are fantastic. The only difference in the "G" lens is it does not have an aperture ring and you don't need that unless you are using the lens on a manual camera. You can set the aperture manually in your D70 through the camera settings and you just don't need the ring.
Nikon manufactures several different quality levels of lenses and the more the lens cost the better the quality. I suggest that you buy the best glass your budget will allow and you can upgrade later. That's what I did.
I have the Nikkor 70-300 f4-5.6D ED AF Zoom and for the money it's a good lens. It's a consumer lens and doesn't have the build quality of my Nikkor 70-200 F2.8G AF-S VR IF ED Pro lens. But it works just fine and doesn't cost any where near what a Pro lens cost.
